Comments: We stay here every year at Christmas time and kids love it. Lots for them to do including hiring go-Karts/bikes, playground and the nearby beaches. Sites are obviously hard to get at Christmas due to perpetual bookings such as ourselves but if booking other times of the year check which site and ask for grass as some sites are under trees so are just dirt. There are 3 beaches you can access from here, main one being Horseshoe Bay which is just over the dunes via a sand track or walk further down to the steps. Waves can be a bit rough for the little kids but if up for a short walk there is path which heads to Crockery Bay which is much calmer and protected but less sand and can have lots of seaweed onshore.
This year we also made use of the bike track which was great fun and kids made it all the way to Middleton and back.
